I was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama but grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  I have lived in Mobile since 1993. I have been married for twenty-four years and have three beautiful children - Olivia (20), Gray (18), and Luke (16). All of my children attended Clark-Shaw Magnet School and Davidson High School.

This will be my twenty-fourth year at Clark-Shaw Magnet.  I have held many positions: seventh and eighth grade Language Arts teacher, Title I Facilitator, Parent/Volunteer Coordinator, drama/journalism elective teacher, and Cheerleading sponsor. This year I am teaching Language Arts 8.

 I am highly qualified to teach reading and language arts in grades 4-12.

I am also a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) in English Language Arts: Early Adolescence.
