I’m Ryon Depinet, and I’m thrilled to be starting my third year at Barton Academy, now as a 7th grade math teacher. Before stepping into this role, I spent two years as a math interventionist here at Barton. My teaching journey began with two years at Clark Shaw and a year at Murphy High School, which has given me a broad range of experience in the classroom.

I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Secondary Education (Mathematics 6-12 Certification) and Kinesiology from the University of Mobile. I then pursued a Master’s in Mathematics from the University of West Alabama to deepen my expertise.

In addition to my teaching career, I’m the director of Union 10 FC-Mobile, a local soccer club. My passion for soccer is also reflected in my achievements, including winning a state championship for high school soccer in Alabama. I’m dedicated to fostering growth in both my students and players, and I’m excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to the classroom and the field.
